The Gers arena will organize four bullfights, a pitted novillada and a non-bited novillada from June 7 to 9 during the three days of the Pentecost weekend.
Vic-Fezensac has established itself for decades as the leading Torist category arena of reference in France and its reputation has gone far beyond the Pyrenees. The Vicois bullfighting club has just revealed the farms which will tread the Gers sands from June 7 to 9 for their traditional Pentecost feria.
A program in line with this plaza with two bullfights from Saltillo and Dolores Aguirre, the traditional “competition” with the irons of Miura, Prieto de la Cal, Villamarta, Veiga Teixeira, Pallares and Pagès-Mailhan which will be completed by a pique novillada from Prieto de la Cal and one not stitched with French breedings (Alma Serena, Camino de Santiago, Le Lartet, La Espera and the Astarac.
But the closing cartel on Monday June 9 will be one of the great events of the French season 2025 with a desafio (challenge) of ganaderias between Arauz de Robles and Flor de Jara and a solo by Morenito de Aranda.
The bullfighter from Burgos will achieve the first single against six in the history of Vic-Fezensac after being designated triumphant for the 2024 season in the South-West with his three big gates in Vic against Los Maños (three ears), Mont- de-Marsan in front of the Victorino (three ears), and Dax where he cut off two ears of the Victoriano del Rio.
