► Contagious vitality

The orchestra of seven musicians and the two singers who accompany it are fully involved in a show wonderfully supported by an original musical creation. The African artists, united under the generic name of the Ethiopian Circus Stars, seem transcended by the frenetic rhythm of the instruments. And the enthusiastic applause from the audience only increases their energy tenfold. To the point of making young and old alike want to dance!

► Careful staging

Under the Cirque Phénix big top, no too tight leotards in garish colors, but magnificent stage costumes (250 in total!) which highlight performances where virtuosity is combined with great generosity. Each number, directed by Alain M. Pacherie, reveals the troupe's intense joy in giving the best of itself. The show thus gains an extra soul which arouses real emotion. Impossible to remain unmoved when beauty rhymes with technicality.

► Exceptional numbers

Who should you attribute your biggest favorites to? To the two jugglers who use bouncing balls to reinvent an ancestral art into a fascinating ballet? To the three young women who combine the art of lifting and contortion to push the limits of their bodies? To the artist who presents his rola-rola act, perched higher and higher on a series of unstable cylinders, taking the breath away from amazed spectators? To the couple on roller skates who spin at astonishing speed in an extremely small space?

Everyone deserves the satisfaction but, perhaps even more so, the troupe of eight prodigious acrobats, some of whom land on their feet their colleagues propelled into the air by the force of an aerial seesaw. Extraordinary !
