Already organized a few years ago in the seaside town of Criel-sur-Mer (Seine-Maritime) before disappearing, the wedding fair will make its return to Chantereine castle in 2025. This time, it will be organized by the Lanchères association: Happy D Vents. For this return to Criel-sur-Mer, the event will not only be dedicated to marriage, but also to PACS and family celebrations.
The show will take place on January 11 and 12, from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, free entry. “We chose Criel-sur-Mer because there was a show that was organized a few years ago and it stopped because of covid so we wanted to relaunch it and then because there is castle,” says the president of the association, Marie Moreaux.
40 exhibitors
Getting used to the exercise after organizing the wedding fair at Saint-Quentin-Lamottea little less than four months ago and before that in Lanchères, the organization promises that around forty exhibitors are expected in the three rooms of the castle. The objective is to present as many professionals as possible for festivities, whether weddings, civil partnerships or other family celebrations (birthdays, baptisms, etc.).
Thus, there will be wedding dress designers, florists, musicians, singers, hairdressers, makeup, candy sales, collection vehicles… “They are professionals from the region,” insists Marie Moreaux. “We open the doors to all professionals. The association offers locations at reasonable prices. For the two days, it is from 55 € ».
Demonstrations
The future bride and groom and/or service providers will have, during these two days, a wide range of possibilities available to them for their big day. Several demonstrations and stagings will enrich this offer. Two dress shows of brides will take place in the afternoon of Saturday and Sunday, at 2 p.m. then at 4:30 p.m.
Several demonstrations will take place between the 2 p.m. parade and the 4:30 p.m. parade. “There will be ball opening demonstrations, then a guitarist, a saxophonist and a singer,” says the organizer.
For this edition, the Happy D Évent association chose the theme Pampas and orange tones. “In Saint-Quentin-Lamotte, it was the blue and white theme, but we wanted to change. This theme is still relevant, it still appeals as much and we are going to add a little touch of orange, something they do not dare to do,” underlines Marie Moreaux. “They are always on powder pink, green and here, we are going to spice up the beige, which is bland, with orange. It’s going to be pretty.”
The goal is to give many ideas so that this day will be forever unforgettable. After welcoming 300 people to Saint-Quentin-Lamotte, the organizers hope to attract a few more this time.
