Ce film de science-fiction made on a scenario of Mohamed Hafidi tells the story of Amina, a young radiophilic neurosurgeon who likes to listen to the radio at any time, even during her activity in the operating room, something that will facilitate the frequency (404.01) to make contact with her. The mysterious little voice comes into contact with her for the first time, while she tries to help an injured colleague. Later, this voice asks him to perform some orders and accomplish mysterious tasks, while announcing disturbing events.
Things take a dramatic turn when she finds herself involved in the murder unexplained by a child, an event which triggers a frantic quest to understand the origin of this radio wave and the reason why it is targeted and thus be able to escape its fate.
Besides Hasna Moumni who plays the role of Amina, the cast includes Abdellatif Chaouki, Nasser Aqabab, Abdennabi Bennioui, Jalila Talemsi or even Hasnaa Tamtaoui.
In a statement, Younes Reggab stressed that his film will surprise and intrigue the audience by taking them into an immersive and intense experience, before adding that it represents a cinematographic evolution in the science fiction genre of Moroccan cinema.
For her part, the actress Hasna Moumni affirmed that this film, whose national release is scheduled for December 25, “will certainly be successful”, confiding to MAP that this is his first participation in a science fiction film, given that the productions on this register are very rare.
Younès Reggab comes from a cinema family. He is the son of Mohamed Reggab (1942-1990), director who marked the Moroccan cinema with the cult film “The hairdresser from the poor quarter” (Hallaq darb al-fouqara). After studying at an audiovisual school in Mohammedia, Youne s Reggab completed internships in different Casablanca production companies and assisted directors.
In 2003, he directed his first film, “Khouya“, a 20-minute short film on the issue of euthanasia, followed by several other short films as well as TV moviesbefore taking the plunge by directing his first feature film in 2014 “Dead leaves“.
