After a Big Bag that lived up to expectations and two beautiful autumn evenings, this last date promises to be very beautiful.
This is an exceptional evening as the Cartel Bigourdan team knows how to organize with two unique talents from the French music scene.
And as they usually say, there is something for everyone, since the music and styles are varied and for all audiences. It is therefore done by also offering a show for young audiences before a magical evening.
A daring reference to French song
Mathieu Ladevèze, by his stage name Barcella, shakes up the codes by mixing slam, poetry and boundless energy. With more than 1,000 concerts, the prestigious Barbara Prize (2012) and flagship projects such as the Charabia festival in Reims, he has established himself as a major figure in musical news. His presence on the stages of major festivals (Printemps de Bourges, Francofolies, Paléo) and memorable collaborations (“Le Chant des Sirènes” with Fréro Delavega) illustrate his influence and his singularity in the musical landscape. He also crossed paths with Emily Loizeau and Aldebert. Which earned him to be considered as the musician of words.
Taking advantage of this arrival on the first day of vacation, Barcella offers young audiences his show “Tournepouce”. Tournepouce, a recluse in an old hat factory, lives without worrying about others. He dreams and escapes into stories, but one summer, the wind disrupts his routine. And if this show is recommended for ages 6 and up, there is no age limit to come and discover it.
Groove between Dub and French song
Rock It is a creation by Camille Bazbaz and Crazy PP, energizing and extraordinary, mixing the sounds of the organ of the 60s, dub and French song. This project brings together three musicians who have carried out numerous collaborative projects and recorded with legends such as Winston McAnuff, enriching this formation with a style that is both grounded and innovative.
On stage we find all the class and charisma of the dandy crooner at the microphone. A unique show where some hits are revisited punctuated with new songs. While Bazbaz makes his 1976 Hammond organ inseparable from his Leslie cabin cry, Crazy PP plays the one-man band.
