After King Charles and Camilla, then Harry and Meghan, it’s the turn of the Princess and the Prince of Wales to finally unveil their traditional holiday greeting card. An image that tastes reheated, but that’s normal. Here’s why.

This card remains no less symbolic: this family photo is taken from the video of September 9, 2024 in which the Princess of Wales announces the end of her treatment for cancer. A way to say goodbye to painful, uncertain and stressful months for the future kings and queens of England, as well as their three children.

Unlike Harry and Meghan who opted for a montage of six photos, Kate and William opted for the strictest sobriety. Surrounded by George, Charlotte and Louis, they appear all smiles, arm in arm. The setting is rural, the floral dresses, happiness and simplicity assumed. Just like the words chosen.

If fans of the princely couple may have been disappointed not to discover a new, unpublished photo, like those to which Kate Middleton may have accustomed them on the occasion of birthdays or important events, they may quickly be consoled.
