In an interview with JDD, the most followed YouTuber in France returned to the values ​​he defends, which have sometimes caused controversy.

Tibo InShape is interested in politics and he doesn’t hide it. In the past, France’s leading YouTuber has made it known that he considers himself “right-wing” and that he would agree to be Minister of Sports if it was offered to him. During an interview with JDD on Thursday, December 19, he returned to his positions, but also to the values ​​he defends. He thus deplores being considered a “right-wing YouTuber” because of these.

“Being labeled a ‘right-wing YouTuber’ for having defended values ​​such as love of the French flag or respect for the police is reductive. These principles should go beyond political divisions,” he declared.

“I remain true to my values”

Among the videos published on his channel, Tibo InShape, whose real name is Thibaud Delapart, has indeed appeared with the GIGN, the Army and even the RAID. Choices that he defends. “An attack in my twenties made me realize the importance of the gendarmes, who helped me that day. My admiration for them, as well as for the soldiers, continued to grow to the point that I consider today “today to join the reserve”, explained the YouTuber.

“These beliefs have cost me subscribers, partnerships and opportunities, but I remain true to my values,” he added.

Tibo InShape notably returned to his exclusion from the show “Aux Jeux Streamers”. Following a controversy, the YouTuber and other participants disappeared from the show. “I was removed from a France TV program linked to the Olympics. It was explained to me that it was a ‘diplomatic’ decision. I will let readers draw their own conclusions,” said the YouTuber.

Choice publicly assumed

Considering himself “right-wing”, Tibo InShape nevertheless voted for Emmanuel Macron’s camp during the legislative elections. A choice that he announced publicly. He nevertheless affirms that he would also have publicly assumed his choice if he had voted for the RN. “Some people already associate me with the far right, simply because I display a French flag in my gym. It’s absurd,” he criticizes.

The YouTuber also admits that “the National Rally defends certain values ​​close to the [siennes]but not all.” “I think there is good and bad in each camp, left and right,” he said.

Finally, regarding the development of his channel, TiboInShape clarified that he does not plan to collaborate with international YouTubers at the moment, although his international success has contributed to his rise. “I have a significant international community, particularly in India, Pakistan and Brazil. Last summer, I was even recognized for the first time abroad, in Greece,” he rejoiced.
