Quite an evening. Saturday evening, success was once again achieved on the stage of the Miss France 2025 show, presented by Jean-Pierre Foucault, on TF1. An event which was marked by the coronation of Angélique Angarni-Filopon, first Miss Martinique to receive the coveted crown of Miss France. But behind the scenes, tensions emerged between different regional misses.
It no longer follows on the networks
A discord which has been relayed, in recent hours, on social networks. Internet users have noted certain changes coming from other regional misses. According to a TikTok account which follows the beauty pageant candidates, Miss Côte d’Azur, Lilou Emeline-Artuso, would have unsubscribed from two Instagram accounts: that of Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais and first runner-up to Miss France 2025, Sabah Aïb, and that of Miss Île-de-France, Julie Dupont.
Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais and Miss Île-de-France would also have, at the same time, unsubscribed from Miss Côte d’Azur’s account. However, no precise information has yet filtered out on a possible falling out between the three young women behind the scenes of the ceremony.
“You’re going to shine!” »
However, Miss Côte d’Azur does not seem bitter about her place as fourth runner-up and was keen to congratulate Miss Martinique, crowned Saturday evening on the Futuroscope stage. “Congratulations Angélique on this title, you are going to shine! », posted Lilou Emeline-Artuso on Instagram. In response, Angélique Angarni-Filopon wrote “Ma lilouche”, accompanied by several heart emojis. But sometimes the heart turns into resentment.
“One Miss pushed another”
Tensions between candidates for the title of Miss France are not new. Without listing all the hiccups between different young women throughout history, Frédéric Gilbert, the president of the Miss France 2025 committee, recently confided one to our colleagues at Parisian. “During a rehearsal, a Miss pushed another who had made a mistake to indicate her exact position on the ground,” he recalled. She was right, but last year, it was a less winning promotion where the young woman would have done the same thing by taking her by the hand, not by pushing her. It’s not always pretty what happens in beauty pageants.
