Saturday December 14, after a day punctuated by the Christmas market and the lantern march, the inhabitants of Pinsaguel gathered in front of the Château des Confluences to witness a dazzling spectacle. The Zakar Riders troop offers a spectacular dive into the world of medieval chivalry, between equestrian stunts, fire fights and historical sketches.
Despite the unpredictable weather, the public was there. Maurice, a resident of Pinsaguel, shared his enthusiasm: “The cold did not matter in the face of the magic of this show. The children had their eyes glued to the show and we, the parents, were also won over by the staging.”
This magical moment was accessible to everyone, because it was entirely financed by the municipality. Offering a free show to bring residents together during this holiday season illustrates the municipality’s commitment to making culture and festivities accessible to as many people as possible.
To soften the winter cold, the Pinsaguel Animation League, better known as “Rabbit”, offered free hot chocolate and mulled wine. Marie-Pierre, a member of the association, expressed her joy at being present: “It’s a real pleasure to contribute to these moments of sharing. Seeing people smile while enjoying a hot drink during this show is the greatest reward.”
This evening, rich in emotions and conviviality, ended the day on a magical note. The Zakar Riders show left lasting memories, and the Christmas spirit warmed the hearts of Pinsaguelois, young and old. A great success which wonderfully illustrates the vitality and solidarity of the village.
