“I like being against society”

Nailher real first name Anne-Claire, is much more than just a singer. Poet, illustrator, committed activist, she knew how to conquer the hearts of Eric Jean-Jean and the listeners of RTL2. During her appearance on the show, she spoke about her atypical journey, from her beginnings in journalism to her musical career. “I like to go against society which constantly urges us to move quickly,” she confides, emphasizing her taste for long-term work and thoughtful creation.

An album matured over the years

His new album, Obviously, is the fruit of long-term work. Clou explains that he wrote certain songs over several years, taking pieces from his first album to integrate them into this new project. “That’s all the time. That’s it, 4 years, 2 years, 10 years, 20 years, 40 years, the time it takes,” she said. The album, released on October 18, is an invitation to discover his rich and varied musical universe.

Two captivating live performances

During the show, Clou performed his single live My shoulder as well as a resumption of One Of Us by Joan Osborne. Her aerial version of this classic seduced Eric Jean-Jean, who compared her interpretation to that of Joni Mitchell. Clou also shared his love for the stage, talking about his upcoming tour in January, with dates in , Brétigny-sur-Orge, , Montélimar, and a visit to the Trianon in on March 19.

A career in constant evolution

Clou also spoke about her musical influences, ranging from Joan Baez to Nirvana, and her varied career path, from print media to music. She confided her attachment to creation in all its forms, whether through her songs, her drawings or her writings. “I draw all the time, even in the studio when I should be working,” she admits, illustrating his all-consuming passion for art.
