Radio Nuevo Tiempo Paraguay celebrates its 20th anniversary: ​​baptisms and inaugurations on the program

Radio Nuevo Tiempo Paraguay, a ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, celebrated its 20th anniversary. On the program of festivities: inaugurations of new branches, baptisms and a festive gathering.

An inaugural and evangelical journey

From November 26 to 28, the Nuevo Tiempo Paraguay team, accompanied by international guests, traveled through the towns of Saltos del Guairá, Pedro Juan Caballero and Yguazú. These trips made it possible to inaugurate new antennas and reopen an existing station. A special evangelism program was also offered, leading to the baptism of 11 people. Guests included Joel Flores, Nuevo Tiempo evangelist and host of the “Talking with God” program, Tomas Parra, director of Radio Nuevo Tiempo for the South American Division of the Adventist Church, Benjamin Belmonte, president of the Adventist Church in Paraguay, and singer Danny Pires. “This week has been very special,” said Tomas Parra. “Everywhere we went, we were warmly welcomed. People are happy to have a radio station that addresses spiritual issues, plays different music and offers a message of hope. » He also stressed the importance of donations and support from the Adventist Church to enable the radio to reach more hearts.

A festive gathering for 20 years

The culmination of the celebrations took place on November 30 in Asunción. More than 500 listeners gathered at the Nobile Excelsior Hotel to celebrate 20 years of Nuevo Tiempo Paraguay, in the company of their favorite hosts and preachers.

The Nuevo Tiempo Bible School: transformed lives

The Nuevo Tiempo Bible School, a radio-related department that offers free Bible studies, celebrated the graduation of students who took a course on the prophet Daniel. Many of them gave their lives to Christ during the ceremony. “I invite you to remain firm in the Lord, because Jesus is coming soon,” said Samuel Arce, director of Nuevo Tiempo Radio in Paraguay. “Thanks to your commitment to radio, many more people will hear this good news. »
