Six French ganaderias

This is the third consecutive year that it has been organized by the Cercle Taurin Toros y Toreros. It will be composed of novillos coming from six French ganaderias among the best of the moment and will be part of the program of the 36th Romería del Encuentro, which will take place from June 20 to 22, 2025. The heads of the cartel who will face these bulls will be known a few weeks before the novillada.

What is a ganaderia?

For novices who would like to attend a novillada for the first time – with killing in the arena, unlike Camargue races -, Ganadería (from the Spanish ganado: cattle) designates the place of breeding where the animals come from. bullfighting bulls (lidia). The breeder goes by the name of ganadero. The bulls of a ganadería usually have the same overall appearance, the same structure, the same type.
