Breathtaking Women of Troy at the Théâtre Indocile in Sion

The Théâtre Indocile in Sion, still directed by Stéphane Albelda, is presenting over these three days a breathtaking staging of an adaptation of Les Troyennes by Euripides by Flavie Tapparel, this Greek play which was also tackled by the French philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre who would certainly have applauded this extraordinary success in which five actresses, an actor and three dancers participated, whose dense presence could not escape the spectators.

Describing the tragedy presented with burning topicality is impossible, so I will not attempt it, contenting myself with telling all those who decide on the access of theater troupes to the largest theaters in French-speaking Switzerland, and moreover, that they would be inspired to go in search of the confidential recording of the thing that the Contheysanne company PERL PROD did this last Thursday.

To say that Cassandre was incredible (a “bomb” according to a pianist in the front row), that Helen, Hecuba, Andromache, the evil Greek messenger killed and all the others magnified the adaptation made by two Valais women who study at the University of Friborg is a truth which will not be contested by the hundred privileged people who attended the performance this Saturday evening.

In a striking witticism, the Valais director of Cervsntès and Molière observed that the actresses of Parhélia were not funny, wanting with this word simply to underline the tragic force released by these committed, passionate young actresses. and whose ideal of life, I dare to bet, is not ready to die out.

I don’t know who designed the costumes – crocheted – and the tattoos of Women of Troy, but I give them my last words here for their exclusive attention:

EXCELLENT.
