Luxury art hotel IZZA is celebrating its first anniversary with a new concept: the launch of its independent restaurant, Noujoum. A name rich in meaning, which echoes the house of the late American designer Bill Willis, who largely inspired the decor and aesthetic of IZZA.
CCreated from the interconnected riads, IZZA is home to a unique and incredible collection of traditional and digital artworks to discover throughout the property, including the Amazonia NFT series by Sebastião Salgado and the Turkish artist’s machine-taught quicksand -American Refik Anadol. A route rich in discoveries which guides you towards the terraces with gardens, from which the brand new Noujoum restaurant sits.
True to the IZZA “House Of Friends” style, Noujoum offers tasty lunch and dinner menus, mainly composed of small plates and sharing plates. Enough to enjoy a real moment of conviviality in the heart of a cozy location, nestled on the roof of the medina. An exotic setting, ideal for tasting Noujoum’s seasonal menu, made with local products, selected from local suppliers, surrounding organic farms as well as the day’s harvest from the IZZA roof garden, in order to showcase showcasing the best of Morocco. Crab and leek croquettes, king prawns with langoustine and saffron mayonnaise, beef carpaccio with truffled artichoke, marinated chanterelles and pastilla…, so many specialties concocted by the establishment’s chef, Ahmad El Hardoum, who over the last 15 years, has worked in renowned establishments in Marrakech.
Its know-how as well as its proven experience allow you to discover flavors crafted with perfect balance.
