The Jean-Carmet cultural center in Mûrs-Erigné will host, on Saturday December 14 at 10:30 a.m., the premiere of the play “L’Enfant et la Lune”, a creation by the company La Syrinx de Pan. Intended for children aged 6 and over, this delicate work plunges into a poetic and musical universe.
Between protection and quest for autonomy
The story highlights Selenia, a curious and imaginative child forced to stay in her room due to a rare illness that prevents her from being exposed to the sun. His life is punctuated by his mother’s stories, toys and love. But one evening, hearing a child playing outside, Sélénia dreams of adventure. The desire to go out and discover the world is then confronted with the prohibitions that protect it. The play sensitively explores the relationships between parents and children, between caring protection and the quest for autonomy.
Brenda Planchard plays the role of Sélénia, Caroline Violier that of the mother and Julie Armand plays the role of the child from outside. The staging, imagined by Caroline Violier, is based on a musical creation composed by Benjamin Beillard. The scenography and lighting are designed by Bastien Bruère.
Saturday December 14 at 10:30 a.m. at the Jean-Carmet cultural center, in Mûrs-Érigné. Single price: €5. Duration: 1 hour.
