Directed in 2008 by Christopher Nolan, “The Dark Knight” is considered one of the best Batman, a hero played by actor Heath Ledger, who died some time after filming.
A film that gives pride of place to action scenes. And who says Batman says Batmobile, a car that has entered cinema history directly.
A dream that comes true
More exuberant than ever, the film’s Batmobile, first seen in “Batman Begins,” was created by engineering and prototyping company Action Vehicle Engineering.
While cinema vehicles generally remain unique, the company has decided to start manufacturing them in small series. In fact, ten examples will be built and put on sale.
A V8 Corvette
No turbine on the program, the Batmobile is equipped with a V8 engine of GM origin, found on the Corvette C6 and developing 532 hp and 659 Nm.
It should be remembered that the car still weighs 2.5 tonnes on the scale. Equipped with a four-speed automatic transmission, it has everything of the classic American car.
The bodywork is made of carbon kevlar and fiberglass and rests on a tubular chassis. But you won’t have the opportunity to meet her on the road.
This monstrous Batmobile is unfortunately not approved for road use. Too bad, because the company has thought about the comfort of the occupants with air conditioning, screens and a cabin covered in Alcantara.
A toy for wealthy adults
You will still need to have a well-stocked bank account to slip behind the wheel of this Batmobile.
It is offered at 2.75 million euros excluding taxes. The first deliveries will take place within a year.
