We recently spoke to you about Flora floral beers (the new creation of which will be unveiled this November 30) and the desire of their creators to develop the concept beyond the brewing field alone, particularly in the artistic world. Among their other activities is a Sunday brunch. Faced with the varied offering of brunches here, particularly in Brussels, it seems difficult to come up with an innovative proposal. That’s without counting on the imagination of Thibault Ernst and Maxime Tillet who, with Lazy Sun Days, bring a touch of freshness (a bit like with their beers, in short).

Create an experience that combines music, cuisine and mixology
Launched last November, at edmond.brussels, Lazy Sun Days combine brunch and electronic music. With the added bonus, for each edition, a new cocktail menu, a new line-up, a new decor and, importantly, a new chef. In November, it was Lina Berrahal who opened the festivities, with, among other things, a trout gravlax bun! “ The ideaexplains Thibault Ernst, est to create an experience that combines music, cuisine and mixology in an exceptional location. We want to offer a memorable experience, where every detail, from sounds to flavors, immerses participants fully in the moment. »
On the drinks side, in addition to the Flora beers, we note that the cocktails are created by Alexandre Szczesny, bartender and mixologist at the Fleur de Ville hotel and the Era restaurant. The menu each includes three fixed cocktails (Sunrise espresso martini, Morning basil smash, Early pornstar martini) and two new signature cocktails, adapted to the edition. In addition, at each edition, during a happy hour, a local product is highlighted.
How is it going? The half-day is divided into two parts with the brunch itself from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., followed by a DJ set until 7 p.m.
How much does it cost? There are two types of formula: a brunch formula (€42.50) which includes a welcome cocktail, a brunch (either 3 courses or food x design buffet) as well as access to the dj-set part, or a formula just for the music (€12.50) from 2 p.m.
Where and when does it happen? The second edition of LSD will be held this Sunday 1is December at the Palazzo Creative Workspace, located at 190 rue Théodore Verhaegen in Saint-Gilles, with DJs from the Mosfet club: Guido Monaco, Room 237 and Cup of T. The name of the chef will be revealed at the last minute.
