“I started writing poems at the age of 7, then I started drawing: my passion was born; she never left me”, says Anne Moré from Nantes. Also a musician, she is currently presenting her creations, an original mix of techniques.
“This unique art method imposed itself on me during the Covid period, when I lacked basic materials, and I definitely adopted it because it corresponds well to my character, explains the artist. I discovered a new pleasure that I wanted to pass on within two workshops that I supervise: one at home, on Tuesday evening, the second on Wednesday afternoon, at the association café Le Bouillon, in La Contrie . »
A retired teacher, she supports her new students in their own creations without imposing anything on them: “Everyone gradually finds their style and reveals their talent. »
Anne Moré exhibits around forty of her works, including several portraits, at the Dervallières neighborhood center, run, she says, by “the artistic desire to send light and passion into the world through [ses] creations.”
She will lead three workshops on site, each lasting two hours. The first two are reserved for children from school centers and adults learning French as a foreign language. The third, Thursday December 5, will be open to everyone.
“This exhibition and the entertainment it generates contribute to bringing the cultural project of our socio-cultural center to life,” appreciates Hugues Menet, deputy director of the neighborhood center.
Until Friday December 6, Dervallières neighborhood house, 5, rue Auguste-Renoir, in Nantes, free entry.
