The Garorock festival is preparing its next edition from July 3 to 6, 2025. If any rumors have suggested that the meeting could move after the announcement of the takeover in spring 2024 by the German group CTS Eventimthis is not the case. It is on the Filhole plain in Marmande (Lot-et-Garonne) that we can see a succession of artists.
This Thursday, November 28, in the early evening, the organizers lifted the veil on a hitherto well-kept secret: part of the programming.
A fourth Garorock for DJ Snake
A first name has been distilled in a riddle posted on the festival's social networks. It was necessary to find the name of DJ Snake who has collaborated with Stromae, Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber. He is no stranger to the Filhole since this is his fourth participation after 2018, 2019 and 2022.
The other artists
Among the dozens of artists who will parade on the Marmandaise stages:
- Gauze et Riles will be on the program on Thursday
- J Balvin will be found on Friday with The Black KeysAmerican rock group, “the favorite group” of Ludovic Larbodie
- DJ Snake et Damso will be on the bill for Saturday evening
- Black Eyed Peas et Hoshiin particular, will close the concerts on Sunday evening.
- The other names completing the lineup are: Biga Ranx, Dabeull, L'Entourloop, Fisher, Jersey, Jungeli, Kompromat, Kybba, Landmvrks, The Last Dinner Party, Meute, Nemzzz, Odezenne, Wallace Cleaver
For almost 30 years, world-renowned artists have regularly performed and moved crowds to this peaceful corner of Lot-et-Garonne. We were able to see Indochine, Muse, David Guetta, Marilyn Manson, Macklemore, Mac Miller, MIA and even Asap Rocky.
Les Black Eyed Peas, iconic American grouphad already been scheduled for 2020 but ultimately never made the trip to Marmande, the edition having been canceled by Covid.
Five to six new artists will be announced between now and Christmas, including two new headliners for Thursday evening.
The ticket office open
This evening of revelations is also an opportunity to the Garorock festivals to open its ticket office accessible on its website. For the Christmas holidays and to launch reservations, as usual, attractive prices are in place.
The 4-day pass with camping is available for €200 instead of €235, the 3-day pass with camping is €170 instead of €190. Finally, the 1-day pass with camping is offered at €75.
The Marmandais festival, created in 1997, now welcomes more than 120,000 spectators and an average of 70 artists. The creator, Ludovic Larbodie, is still part of the programming. Prizes have just been awarded to him, crowning the Garorock festivals in two categories: best very large festival and best partner village of the year.
