The Main Square festival announces its return to the north of France! Mark your calendars, the famous festival is planning three new days of festivities to experience on Friday July 4, Saturday 5 and Sunday July 6, 2025 at the Citadel of Arras. On the program? DJ Snake, Mika, Julien Doré, Martin Garrix or even the Australians Rüfüs Du Sol and the American Gracie Abrams.
Considered one of the largest music festivals in France, the Main Square Festivalcreated in 2004, owes part of its success to the Grand-Place site in Arras, where the festival took place for seven years. Seven years during which festival-goers were able to admire this Grand-Place, considered a unique architectural ensemble in Europe. At the time, this historic site could accommodate around 30,000 festival-goers per day. THE Main Square Festival has already been able to welcome flagship groups like Muse, Coldplay, Depeche Mode, Radiohead, and Placebo to this venue, known to all.
Since 2010, the Main Square Festival takes place on the Vauban Citadel of Arrasa UNESCO World Heritage site. This new venue has helped the festival to increase its capacity with around 40,000 festival-goers.
After a more than successful anniversary edition in 2024, marked by concerts by Lenny Kravitz, Justice, Avril Lavigne, Placebo, Bring Me The Horizon, Josman, Sam Smith and even Zaho de Sagazan, Eddy de Pretto and Ninho, the Main Square announces his return 2025 on the occasion of his 21st edition !
Once again, the Northern France festival plans to have its loyal regulars dancing for three consecutive days of festivities. Mark your calendars! THE Main Square Festival will meet you in Arras on Friday 4, Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 July 2025.
What about la 2025 programming ? The Main Square Festival lifted the veil on the first names confirmed next summer in Arras. DJ Snake will be there, just like Julien Doré, Mika or the American Gracie Abrams, Softly (the project of Matthieu Chedid, Toumani Diabaté and Sidiki Diabaté), the Dutch DJ Martin Garrix and the Australian electro music group Rufus Du Sol.
