The film “GTMAX”, which stars the actor Gérard Lanvin, is a success on Netflix ; it was partly filmed on the Tonnes circuit, the famous motocross and sidecar cross circuit of Brou (Eure-et-Loir).
A Netflix film shot in Eure-et-Loir is number 1
Released on November 20, 2024, the creation ofInoxy Films (already producer of “Lost Ball”, “Lost Ball 2” and “Aka), is the number 1 hit in the film category on the American platform.
The plot of the film: broken dreams, heist…
According to Allociné, “GTMAX” tells the story of Soélie, a young motocross prodigy, who sees her dreams of success shattered following an accident. She now focuses on training her brother, Michael. But when he is recruited by Tmax scooter pilots for a high-level heist in Paris, Soélie must overcome her fears to save him.
The casting is XXL with Gerard LanvinClémentine Célarié, Jalil Lespert, Ava Baya and Just Riadh. Beyond the stars on screen, the action film seems to seduce with the intensity of the stunts on two wheels.
Filming took place in September 2023
For the first time, the Tonnes circuit was chosen as a filming location for the cinema. Filming took place on September 11 and 12, 2023 and the production was looking for extras.
The objective was to rediscover, for a moment, the crazy atmosphere of the sidecar cross world championships, usually so lively.
And it seems to have succeeded… since the film continues to rack up views on Netflix.
