The Garorock festival returns this Thursday, November 28, 2024 with the announcement of the first names for the 2025 edition which, for the first time, will take place on the first weekend of July, more precisely from July 3 to 6, 2024.

The festival will always take place on the side of the Filhole plain, in Marmande (Lot-et-Garonne) but will be the first organized under the leadership of CTS Eventim, a German group which bought the festival from Vivendi in spring 2024.

An artist who has already come to Garorock three times

And just to make festival-goers’ mouths water, Garorock’s communications team decided to distill some clues about a first name which should therefore fill this 2025 program.

In a story published on the festival’s social networkswe see several artist names listed such as Lady Gaga, Stromae, Justin Bieber or Selena Gomez, among others. “What do these artists have in common… an idea? » then asks the publication. Could all these artists be brought together in Marmande?

It turns out that, indeed, the editorial staff of Le Républicain Lot-et-Garonne has another idea. This would, in our opinion, bea French artist who is a big name on the international electro scene.

And he also has the particularity of having already come three times at Garorock in 2022, 2019 and 2018.

It is therefore, in our opinion, DJ Snakefamous French DJ producer who has actually collaborated, one or more times, with all the artists present on this publication.

It now remains to be seen whether this particularity will actually benefit it being present in Marmande in July 2025.
