The director of “The Night of the 12th” is preparing a new thriller about a police case

Director Dominik Moll is preparing a new thriller with Léa Drucker, after the success of The Night of the 12thwhich earned him six Caesars.

Two years after the triumph of The Night of the 12thits director Dominik Moll has just started filming his new film, a thriller about a police case, announced its distributor Haut et Court.

Titled Dossier 137this new film with Léa Drucker in the lead role is currently being filmed between , Saint-Ouen and Saint-Dizier in Haute-. Dossier 137 follows Stéphanie, an investigator at the IGPN, the police department.

In the midst of the yellow vest crisis, a young man is injured by an LBD shot during a demonstration. Stéphanie is responsible for clarifying the circumstances and establishing responsibility. But the file contains an unexpected element.

No release date

Dossier 137 does not yet have a release date. We still don’t know who will respond to Léa Drucker. Released in July 2022, The Night of the 12th had attracted 545,295 spectators even though theater attendance had not resumed as before the pandemic.

Big favorite of the 48th Cesar ceremony, The Night of the 12th by Dominik Moll won six awards including statuettes for best film, best direction and best supporting actor.

“We are lucky in to have an audience that has an appetite for films that go off the beaten track, it’s a curiosity that must be maintained,” declared Dominik Moll when receiving his prize.

The Night of the 12th recounts the investigation into a particularly chilling and never elucidated femicide. Dominik Moll had already received the César for best director in 2001 for Harry a friend who wishes you wellhis biggest public success to date.
