You can’t wait to see the movie Liar, which will feature Anne-Élisabeth Bossé and Antoine Bertrand? Rejoice, because the first images of the feature film which will be released on July 9, 2025 have just been revealed.
Liar tells the story of Virginie (Anne-Élisabeth Bossé) who, wishing to please everyone around her, tells light lies every day… until she finds herself in a universe in which all her lies become reality.
The short but comical trailer shows Virginie’s character donning the “little exaggerations that make the world happy.”
Here, she says that picking up a friend from the airport at 4 a.m. is a favor done to her. There, she says she wants a copy of a friend’s child’s play in DVD format. She even says she wants to play Dungeons and Dragons and pretends not to notice the baldness of an almost bald friend.
Then, we get a glimpse of what Virginie’s life would be like in a universe where all her lies would take shape… We thus see her lover transformed into a “retarded teenager” and Virginie become “the queen of nunuches”.
