This first edition of the works fair will bring together 11 exhibitors from Saturday December 30 to Sunday December 1, in Nevers. Several events and activities will take place within the exhibitors.
Following the cancellation of the Autumn Salon (housing, gourmet, seniors and well-being), Geoffrey Jollet, director of a heating box in Nevers, and three other acquaintances of his wanted to recreate a place to continue meetings between individuals and exhibitors.
The Autumn Salon, in Nevers, will not take place this year
Result: the four partners managed to organize a smaller exhibitor show, in the former Mercedes premises. In total, 11 exhibitors will be on site on Saturday December 30 and Sunday December 1 in Nevers.
“We couldn’t stand idly by after the cancellation of the Autumn Show. The event represented too much turnover for us. There are also individuals who were waiting for this meeting to also do business,” explains the co-founder of the event, Geoffrey Jollet.
A DJ and a cartoonist to liven up the event
Plumbers, electricians, carpenters, gardeners… Many local craftsmen will be present on site to chat with individuals, all with several activities. “Saturday, there will be singer Bébert from the group The Rogues with a DJ, and on Sunday, there will be a caricaturist on site to take portraits throughout the day,” adds Geoffrey Jollet.
Visitors will also be able to participate in certain games with exhibitors in order to win a maneuver or even a reduction on a service. “We especially don’t want to compete with Nivexpo. Above all, we want to meet individuals,” adds Sandrine Legrand, also co-founder of the event.
In partnership with the Amogn’art association, which funds research against childhood cancer, the funds collected for the refreshment bar will be donated to the association.
Practical : Saturday November 30 from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday December 1 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The show will take place at 94 Ter Route de Sermoise, in Nevers.
