Julien Lepers, flagship host of Questions pour un champion from 1988 to 2016 on France 3, paid tribute to William Pinville, voice-over of the show from 1992 to 2016 who died on November 19, 2024.
On November 21, 2024, the BFMTV channel relayed the announcement of the death of a leading figure in Questions for a Champion. Information which was subsequently confirmed by the TV Conseil agency which manages the show’s communications. Indeed, on November 19, 2024, William Pinville died. The latter was known for having been the voice-over of the France 3 program for nearly 25 years, from 1992 to 2016. When Julien Lepers, historic host of Questions for a Championwas ousted in favor of Samuel Etienne, who still holds the reins every evening of the week, William Pinville had left the ship in turn.
