Bad news for Celine Dion’s son. René-Charles Angélil would indeed have been forced to cancel his marriage to Angélique Weckenmann, revealed the magazine Closer on Friday, November 22. The young woman would also have left their home, located in a luxurious subdivision in Mesquite, near Las Vegas. And for good reason: the marriage of René-Charles Angélil, announced in August, was a highly anticipated event. The son of the Quebec singer met Angélique Weckenmann in high school. She is the daughter of Ekaterina Weckenmann, financial director of the famous Wynn casino-hotel in Las Vegas.
