Facoly has amazed us since its beginnings. She discovered her musical passion at 15, inspired by her brother, retracing her childhood in a family home in Touba, Casamance. Her pseudonym, “Facoly”, pays homage to her older sister, Fatou Coly.
She dazzled in 2006 with her first single “Show me the way”, followed by a first album in 2007 “Yow la done xaar”. She quickly enriched her repertoire with a style mixing Afro, World Music and Jazz, then reinvented herself by integrating Mbalax as well as the local languages Joola and Wolof.
Facoly continues to surprise with works such as “Trahison” in 2010 and “Fitnaa du Sey” in 2012, until “Le Retour” planned for 2024, his fourth album. Her look combines modernity and sensuality, demonstrating rare stage originality.
Wherever music calls him, Facoly shines, whether in France, the United States or his native land, Senegal. Since 2013, she has been a true business leader, launching FC Production to promote young artists, while managing the La Médina hotel and a thriving poultry project in Saly.
