Alexandra Pizzagali considered suicide after her controversial column in “Télématin”

The 36-year-old comedian experienced two difficult years after her premiere on the 2 morning show where she chose to devote her column to the attack.

She had had a difficult return to school. On September 5, 2022, Alexandra Pizzagali took his first steps in “Telematin” on France 2. Teleprompter problem, untimely advertising breaks, heavy silences… For its premiere, everything did not go as planned. But what viewers remembered was the theme of his column.

A month later, the comedian, permanently removed from the morning show, made his mea culpa. “The clumsiness I had was treating a serious subject lightly in a current affairs program which repeatedly evoked it in a poignant way”she admitted in the columns of Parisian. And assured that he had the validation of the production of the France 2 morning show: “I sent my column during the night, as I had been asked. It had been validated. I sent it to five people including the producer of the show, who validated it”.

The years have passed and Alexandra Pizzagali has not forgotten anything about this “bad buzz” which affected her deeply. “It’s very pernicious”she admits to our colleagues at Parisian . To get back on track, the young woman decides to return to her parents in where she sinks. “I didn’t see any happy prospects, in a week, a year, ten years. I say to myself: “Eureka, I found it”. As I believe in reincarnation, I will end this life and move on to the next”she explains. She ultimately does not take action, thinking of her parents and her pregnant sister. “I haven't found a way for them not to be sad. Their potential pain saved me”she adds.

After losing the pleasure of going on stage and seeing the rooms empty, the comedian doesn't give up and starts from scratch. This Monday, November 25, Alexandra Pizzagali plays her show for the last time It's in the head at the Atelier theater in . “Even if the room is not quite full, I have a feeling this date will be nice”she hopes. And to conclude on a positive note: “This story allowed me to question the desires that people attribute to us: no, I don't want to write chronicles, but to write stories, and above all play them”.
