Slender, relaxed figure, long, curly hair, and a broad smile. Joysad is fine. Very good indeed. And above all, he is delighted to release this third album in the form of catharsis. Talking about sad things to ward off the depression that hit her six years ago.

In this album entitled “The author of my tales”, Joysad explores his dark side, the wanderings of the man who was one with the desire to go even further.

“There has always been a dark, black side and on the last album, it’s even worse and I think it had to be. On the previous albums, it was sad, it’s very introspective, I tell my “life” (life in English), but in the old albums, there was a too formal side. When I listen to my projects again, it was too visible that I was careful not to offend. wanted to go further and without filter”, explains the rapper.

“It’s the only project that I wrote without talking to my parents even though I usually show them everything. There, it’s so raw that I said to myself ‘I’d rather they listen to it “I didn’t want it to interfere with my creative process, it’s the final loop of all this sadness.”

“People tell me it’s okay, do you need help? But if I managed to write it, it’s because everything is fine, I swear!” laughs the young artist. I’m talking about things that I experienced six years ago and I had never told about all the psychosis I was in; and in this album, I think I succeeded. By sacrificing other things that I love in music, like joy (laughter), there is a page turning and I needed to be as frank as possible with myself.

In the first black and white clip, “Enfers” from this new album, the rapper stages his own death by dragging his coffin at the end of chains.“I said to myself, we have to kill the old Joysad. I got lost, I went too far. I wanted to portray him in a crude way.”

At the end of the clip, Joysad leaves a phone number for those going through this intimate and painful ordeal.

“At the end of recording the clip, we set up this call number. It’s an automatic messaging system that redirects to an email address. Only me answers. I received two hundred emails”.

It’s a direct link with my fans. This is a chat link, we can talk about any problem

The artist explains his approach. In the clip, this call number is accompanied by the message “If you need to discuss, I will do everything to answer you”.

A person who is unwell is not going to type SOS suicide on the internet. But if she listens to my sounds and finds my music healing, I receive her messages. I couldn’t deliver such a dark album without providing support.”

With parents in the medico-social sector, it always touched me to want to touch the person. And then, I said to myself, it’s time to put this number on which I have already responded to hundreds of emails. I’m overwhelmed, there are really a lot of them”notes the author who has been overwhelmed since the release of the album.
