As incredible as it may seem, five-time Olympic champion Teddy Riner will soon host a reality TV show on Netflix with his partner Luthna Plocus. What program is this?

After thrilling us this summer during the Paris Olympic Games by winning two gold medals, our national judoka Teddy Riner is embarking on a new project which has absolutely nothing to do with sport. According to information from Parisianthe athlete will in fact take control of the French version of Love is Blinda famous reality TV show broadcast on Netflix. His partner and mother of his two children Luthna Plocus will accompany him on this mission.
Blind dates
After Brazil, Japan, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Germany, Argentina, Mexico, and the United Arab Emirates, Netflix has decided to adapt in France Love is blindhis dating show born in 2020 in the United States. The concept? Fifteen men and fifteen women living in adjoining lofts go on romantic dates for a week, without seeing each other. These “dates” take place in capsules. If two suitors get along well, they can propose to each other and then discover each other physically.
An adaptation produced by ITV Studios
The French adaptation of Love is blind will be produced by ITV Studios to whom we owe The Voice on TF1 or even Love Island on Prime Video. It will be broadcast in 2025 on Netflix. Filming is currently underway in Morocco, after a stop in Sweden, where the lofts are located. Netflix is banking on the popularity of Teddy Riner, and the authenticity of his relationship with Luthna Plocus to launch the program in France.
