The romantic marriage of Ludwig of Bavaria with Sophie-Alexandra Evekink

Prince Ludwig of Bavaria married Sophie-Alexandra Evekink in Munich on May 20, 2023. A romantic and joyful wedding where no less than 1,000 guests were invited. Among all the European elite, the most prestigious German princely families were there.

The day could not be more beautiful in Munich this May 20. There is a crowd on the square of the Theatin church where the bride is about to enter on her father’s arm, and preceded by a string of little maids of honor and little pages. Sophie-Alexandra Evekink is divine in her white dress with a boat neckline and long sleeves embroidered with lace, whose floral motifs run over her bodice and her petticoat. In her loose hair, she has placed a tiara composed of diamond flowers and foliage whose center is set with sapphires which holds a veil embroidered with delicate flowers. In a few minutes, she is about to say “yes” to Prince Ludwig, heir to the kings of Bavaria.
