It’s summer and the cultural offerings are abundant. Among all the events and shows that are on display in the region, here are ten that you can attend without breaking the bank over the next few days.
1. Gladiators at the museum

Throughout history, we have been fascinated by these courageous fighters. In the exhibition Gladiators: Heroes of the Colosseum, we discover the true nature of these men from another era and astonishing artifacts.

2. Choir
Le Diamant invites us to experience dance differently in this immersive 360-degree presentation. The spectator is in the center of a circular screen on which the movements of 12 dancers are projected.

3. Necrot
Want a heavy metal marathon? Californian outfit Necrot are coming to town with touring partners Phobophilic, Street Tombs and Decryptal.

4. Friday ComediHa! club
The basement of the Pyramid of Sainte-Foy is the meeting place for fans of humor who hope, perhaps, to discover the comedians of tomorrow. Nic Audet hosts this evening featuring Radi, Olivier Foy, Kevin Sin and Sarah Boulais.

5. TRIO Hamel’s-Lachapelle project
As part of the Québec Jazz Festival in June, the trio formed by Normand Lachapelle, Louis-Vincent Hamel and Gabriel Hamel concocted a musical menu including jazz compositions and standards.

Every year, the Rendez-vous sur le parvis offer two days of concerts in front of the church of Saint-Antoine-de-Tilly. This year, Damien Robitaille is the headliner of the event, which will also present a tribute to CCR.

7. Tactics

8. Pascal Cameron in training
