Three children who were profoundly deaf from birth form the deaf Music orchestra “Les Colibris” at the Marseille Conservatory. A unique experience in the world filmed by Daniela Lanzuisi, guest of France Bleu Provence, this Thursday at 8:40 a.m., in ICI matin.
Their names are Alexandre, Léandre and Evan, they were born profoundly deaf and can, thanks to a cochlear implant, “hear”. These children had never listened to or played music in their lives before last year, until Frédéric, Alexandre’s father, a musician, wanted to create a unique orchestra within the Marseille Conservatory, so that her son and other deaf children can access music. A unique experience in the world!
A great year of learning which led, upon arrival, to a superb concert at the Palais des Congrès, at Parc Chanot, in Marseille.
A beautiful musical epic summarized in a touching documentary, “Muted music” signed by director Daniela Lanzuisi and broadcast this Thursday evening, at 10:45 p.m., on France3. Documentary also available on the platform france.tv
