In collaboration with the musician Blackout, Maya Rochat created an enveloping bubble in which to contemplate the waters of the sea, the lake, the glaciers, playing with the light.
It is a matrix, a cocoon, an original or science fiction place, where breathing occurs to the rhythm of ebb and flow. We seem to follow the movement of the waves, the reflections of the light, the blowing of the wind. Hypnotic, haunting music, that of the musician Blackout (Manu Tarabay) surrounds us.
Are we in the depths of water? Or on an ocean planet, asleep on a shore dreaming in the rain? Are we drifting on the surface of the water? Are we walking on the edge of a glacier? Did we snorkel to encounter jellyfish or flying saucers? Are we walking in an aquarium or in a forest of algae and larches? Everything mixes and responds in Water is comingthe enveloping installation by Maya Rochat.
