An investigation is underway after the discovery, this Saturday, May 20, of the lifeless body in his Parisian apartment of Ari Boulogne, who claimed to be the son of actor Alain Delon, and a person is in police custody for non-assistance to anyone in danger, said the Paris prosecutor’s office, confirming information from the Parisian. The daily affirms that the person in police custody “would be his companion”.

Born in August 1962, Ari Boulogne, whose real name is Christian Boulogne, photographer by profession, has always considered himself the son of Alain Delon and the German singer Nico, which the glory of French cinema has always denied. If Alain Delon admitted to having had a brief affair with the mother of Ari, nicknamed “the Garbo of punk”, top model, singer, actress and soon to be muse of the Velvet Underground, he always refused to recognize being his legitimate father.

During a face-to-face between the two men, in 1986, inside the BMW – that Ari Boulogne had told our colleagues from Release – the actor would have made very harsh remarks: “Alain Delon, one hand on the steering wheel, the other patting me on the shoulder, gives me this speech: ‘You’re my buddy, you, you’re my buddy. But I’ll tell you something, you don’t have my eyes, you don’t have my hair, you’re not my son, you’ll never be my son, I only slept with your mother once. one time.'”

However, Ari was no stranger to the Delon family: as a child, he was raised by Alain Delon’s own mother, Edith Boulogne, whose name he bears and who officially adopted him with her husband. The legend even says that he had inherited the same bed as the one in which the “Cheetah” slept when he was younger.

In September 2019, Ari Boulogne, continuing the fight of a lifetime, had filed a request for recognition of paternity before the court of Orleans. However, French justice had declared itself incompetent because of the place of residence of the star, located in Switzerland. A cassation appeal was pending. Following his death this Saturday, “the current procedure will stop and the file will be closed. Alain Delon had constantly contested this paternity”, indicated the actor’s lawyer, Me Christophe Ayela. For his part, Le Parisien affirms that this fight “could now be carried by his two children”.
