Exactly 60 years ago, on Wednesday November 20, 1968, Michel Drucker made his first appearance on television. The 22-year-old young man played the role of reporter at Orly airport where he interviewed, for the television news, the coaches and athletes returning from the International Para-Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Already comfortable in front of the camera, Michel Drucker began an exceptional career there which has almost never stopped. With the exception of a few weeks in May 68, then six months in 1986.
In March 1965, Michel Drucker then made his first long television report. Then, a few months later, there would be his famous appearance, shaking, on September 19, 1965, on the set of the show “Sports Dimanche”, alongside Roger Couderc.
We know the rest: in 1966, based on an idea from producer Michèle Arnaud, Drucker presented his first variety show, “Tilt”, aimed at young people. From then on, we will no longer stop him.
“Les rendez-vous du Dimanche”, “Stars”, “Champs-Elysées”, “Stars 90”, “Studio Gabriel”, “Vivement Dimanche”… Not to mention the countless live shows, special evenings and tribute shows that Michel Drucker will animate. Without forgetting the radio where he regularly works, on Europe 1 and RTL.
