Many of you will soon be strolling the aisles of the Jean Marinet center, in Bellegarde-sur-Valserine, in the hope of obtaining signings from your favorite authors. The Art et BD association is organizing the 28th edition of the BD festival in Ain, on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 November 2024. This year, around twenty authors will be present.

Among them: Laura Zuccheri, who drew the poster of this editionbut also Alessio Lapo, Edmond Baudoin, Christian Marthe, Pascal Bresson, Greg Tessier… All the albums of the authors present will be available on site at the bookstore run by the Les Arts Frontières de Bellegarde bookstore, located at 49 rue de la République.

Exhibitions and workshops

This year again, exhibitions are planned:

• Thellusa unique exhibition where you will find the two heroes of the cycles drawn by Carlos Gómez and Laura Zuccheri
• works from competitions No to harassment et Young talents

With, as a bonus, some surprises for 20 years of the Young Talents competitionorganized with the Department of Ain.

The Animations area and the Case des elves will also offer activities and workshops for all ages: creation of badges or scratch cards, manga workshop, etc. In partnership with the municipal cinema Les Variétés, you will also be able to attend the free screening from the animated film Tunnel to summerSaturday 23 at 6 p.m.

Signing times: Saturday, November 23 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.; Sunday, November 24 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Prices: €4 per day; €6 for two days; free for children under 12
