Jennifer Love Hewitt doesn’t want her daughter to go into showbiz right away.

The 45-year-old actress is mom to Autumn, 10, Atticus, 9, and Adan, 3, with husband Brian Hallisay and even though her eldest recently appeared in an episode of “9-1-1,” she admitted that she wanted her to stay in school before pursuing an acting career.

She told E! News: “Our big problem with her is that even though my experience as a child actor was very positive, I think we both said, ‘Stay in school, do this.’ Grow up. Wait until you’re a little older. Don’t accept all of this right away.”

The “Ghost Whisperer” actress began her career when she was a child herself, but admits things have changed so much since then that she prefers her daughter to enjoy her youth while she can rather than to jump straight into anything.

She added: “It’s a different profession to the one I started in. It’s not that simple and easy anymore with social media and everything else. We hope she remains a child.”
