Since his triumphant arrival in September 2023, Émilien has continued to impress in “Les 12 Coups de Midi”. This young prodigy now holds the absolute record for winnings in a game show in France, relegating the production to an unexpected situation according to the ironic words of Jean-Luc Reichmann.
With 416 victories and an impressive prize pool of 1,671,151 euros, the 21-year-old history student is now the biggest winner in the history of French television games.
“Everyone is on their knees, production has no more money”
But this exceptional journey puts TF1’s production to the test, to the point that Jean-Luc Reichmann, emblematic host of the show, ironically declares on the “tele2weeks” website: “Production no longer has any money, TF1 is on your knees! We can’t take it anymore. I must admit to you that it’s been 416 days that he hasn’t stopped grabbing everything” declares the host before specifying: “All his opponents are at the end of their rope. TF1, I’m not even telling you, the tower, everyone is on their knees, production has no more money. We no longer have a solution to counter the Vendéen called Émilien!”
As a reminder, Émilien has already accumulated 1,671,151 euros, including 1,126,000 euros in cash and nearly 545,000 euros in gifts.
14 cars won
Among his many trophies are 14 cars won thanks to his repeated successes at the Mysterious Star, which he solved 14 times. “I haven’t even seen them all,” confided Émilien, explaining that he resold the majority of the vehicles for logistical reasons, nevertheless keeping one car as a souvenir.
His mother Fabienne even plays a key role, managing the impressive stock of gifts collected.
Despite his dizzying progress, Émilien does not seem ready to stop. With humor and determination, he aims to add 400 victories to his incredible career, consolidating his status as a true legend of French game shows.
