The 10th anniversary of the Ten’Danse school brought together 235 students for an evening rich in emotion.
During two evenings, Friday and Saturday evening, the Ten’Danse dance school experienced a highlight. For a decade, Sandy and Nicolas Massip have brought this ambitious project to life. This anniversary deserved a worthy celebration, with a demonstration by 235 students. The Jean-Baylet hall was copiously furnished, and the evening began with words of welcome and thanks from the two creators of this company:
“We are very happy to welcome you on the occasion of this anniversary show of the 10th anniversary of Ten’Danse, in this magnificent Jean-Baylet hall where it all began. Ten years ago, we held our first gala and the dance school was municipal. These ten years were filled with sharing, laughter, emotions, tears, passion, mutual aid, generosity, transmission and finally dance. which, this evening, will dazzle you. It is here that I took my first steps on the stage when I was a young Valencian, and I would never have imagined returning here thirty years later to direct such a beautiful school. municipal ten years ago, it has been intermunicipal for a little over a year. We are happy with its evolution and, even if we always give our all to our profession, we do not do things alone. “
Many tributes followed, notably to elected officials, starting with the president of the CC2R, Jean-Michel Baylet, but also to all the people who work in the shadows.

Then it was the turn of the city’s chief magistrate to say a few words, at the invitation of Nicolas Massip, who recalled that this event had had to be postponed due to the occupation of the room for the elections, before continuing: “I want to thank you both, Sandy and Nicolas, for the way in which you run this dance school, and for this show that we are going to admire this evening. Let us continue here, in Valence-d’Agen, not only to be happy , but also to wear high and strong culture in all its dimensions.”
For three hours, interspersed with an intermission, the young artists delighted the large audience, who could be described as supporters, as they were encouraged all evening. From the youngest to the oldest, they gave the best of themselves.
Forty-three paintings
And the result was not long in coming: no downtime between the 43 paintings, everything came together perfectly. This required a lot of preparation work from the 2 teachers and students.
The first table, bringing together the 235 students, left the audience speechless with “Happy Birthday”, by Kygo. Dominique Maurel and Zaudio Concept enhanced the show with exceptional acoustics, while Serge Falga, from the company Dreamvision, brought warmth and color with dazzling light effects, making this moment unforgettable.
