P. Diddy is accused of violating prison regulations

Sean Diddy Combs has filed a new request for bail from the Brooklyn Correctional Center, where he awaits trial on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation for the purpose of prostitution in May 2025, but the courts do not seem very inclined to grant him .

Prosecutors accuse the rapper of having tried to “evade the surveillance of law enforcement” and of “corruptly influencing the testimony” of “potential jury”. How ? With this birthday video posted by his family.

According to documents obtained by Peoplethe 55-year-old star is accused of using other inmates' phone access, including an “unauthorized third-party messaging service,” to communicate with multiple people and of using her children through their own accounts on the social networks.

“While attempting to evade law enforcement surveillance, the defendant has, among other things, orchestrated social media campaigns that, in his words, seek to taint the composition of the jury; he has endeavored to publicly leak documents he considers useful to his case; and he contacted witnesses through third parties,” the document states. “For these reasons, the Court should deny the defendant a new bail hearing.”

Manipulation or family support

“The defendant asked family members to plan and execute a social media campaign around his birthday, intending to influence the potential jury in this criminal proceeding,” the document alleges. “Per the defendant's carefully worded instructions, the defendant's children posted a video on their respective social media accounts showing the defendant's children gathered together to celebrate the defendant's birthday. »

Prosecutors allege that the star “explicitly discussed with his family how to ensure the video had the desired effect on potential jury members in this case.” He is also accused of attempting to “anonymously leak videos favorable to his defense.”

P. Diddy has pleaded not guilty to all charges against him. Two judges have already refused to release him. His lawyers proposed a $50 million bond.
