A true tradition in La Matanie, the Moules et Blues event will return to the premises of the Collective Kitchen in Matane next Saturday from 5 p.m.

The benefit dinner will be held for the benefit of Centraide Bas-Saint-Laurent for a 20th edition.

An auction will also be presented alongside the event.

“Organizations will put items up for auction. Usually, there are beautiful items for sale,” comments organizer Vicky Truchon.

People from several organizations supported by Centraide will help out as volunteers during the event.

“There are some who are in the shadows, I am thinking of Hélène from the Collective Kitchen who takes care of cooking the mussels. We don’t see her all evening, but it’s definitely thanks to her that we eat so well! », says Vicky Truchon.

Furthermore, the evening will be hosted by Sylvain Caron from radio O95.3 Matane.

Those who wish to participate in the event can contact the Center Alternatif en Santé Mentale et Sociale Le Marigot de Matane at (418) 562-4247 to obtain tickets for $30.

The Moules et Blues event allows Centraide to raise between $6,000 and $8,000 on average.
