My virtuoso region is the new name of La Folle jour en region, a variation of the classical music festival La Folle jour, in Nantes. It is the same artistic director, René Martin, who offers programming around a theme each year, highlighting the greatest ensembles and musicians in France and even the world. A rich event which allows those furthest from the regional capital to enjoy quality concerts.
The 2026 edition on hold
While the Region announces significant budget cuts, the repercussions of which the cultural community fears, My virtuoso region 2025 is indeed maintained “and the programming ends, says René Marin. The ticket office will open on December 13, 2024.” As for the 2026 edition, the artistic director did not hide his concern to see the event threatened by the feared reductions in subsidies.
