Nagui announces “foam” cows for the new version of the game “Intervilles”

However, there will be notable changes, notably the absence of the famous cows, motivated by animal welfare considerations. Nagui, the emblematic host of the show, confirmed that these iconic figures will however be replaced by a foam mascot “with someone inside”. This choice comes despite the announced boycott of the towns of , Mont-de-Marsan and , historically linked to the show. “There are almost 35,000 cities in , I only need six of them to start and we already have a lot of applications from previous participants. I’m not worried”, he told Sud-Ouest.

Intervilles wishes to free the show from these traditions considered degrading while retaining the fundamentals that have made it successful. Classic events such as spinning, swimming pools and tug of war will be maintained, this time with a Mixed Wall of Champions. “We want to create a new show which allows those who watched the program at the time to find everything they liked but by revisiting the concept to bring it up to date.” Nagui concludes.
