Kate Moss has revealed that she still cries because of a topless fashion shoot she did as a teenager.
The supermodel explained on Bella Freud’s new podcast, Fashion Neurosisthat she struggled for a long time against what was expected of her at 15 years old.

Taken by the late photographer Corinne Day, the images were published in the fashion magazine The Face and launched the modeling career. Except that she was very naked…and very minor!
“Even after that photo shoot, I cried a lot at the thought of getting naked with her,” Kate Moss, 50, said. “I really didn’t want to do it.”
She added that her brother was bullied at school after the photo was posted.
“I was 15 and I was topless in a magazine, and I was still in school,” the model pointed out. “They made fun of my brother saying: ‘Your sister took out her breasts.’ I think he probably suffered more from it than me.”
Kate Moss added that she was particularly embarrassed because she had a mole on one of her breasts.

“I started doing topless photos at a very young age and I was very aware that I had a mole on my right breast and I hated it so much that I cried,” she revealed. “I never wanted to be topless. I was crying and I had to get over it because the photographer was like, ‘If you don’t do this, I won’t keep you for the next job,’ so I had to get over it.”
“Your body doesn’t really belong to you when you’re the repository of someone else’s imagination,” says Kate Moss, who launched her own talent agency.
