A major event is being prepared in Soullans (Vendée) on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 November. This is the 15th edition of the singing weekend, of the Vocalise ensemble.
200 singers present
The Soulland ensemble, which brings together more than sixty choristers, will welcome for the occasion nearly two hundred singers from all over France.
Among them, there will be a group of singers from the famous choir Les Fous Chantants d’Alès, who have already had the opportunity to perform recently alongside Vianney, Jean-Louis Aubert, Florent Pagny and Pascal Obispo.
“It is with real pleasure that our association will celebrate its 15th singing weekend this year and for this event we have chosen to invite two complementary artists. We look forward to sharing this anniversary together and rediscovering the pleasure of singing together! », rejoice the organizers.
A long weekend of singing
Faithful to the concept, the singers who will perform on stage will thus discover on Saturday at the very beginning of the afternoon the scores of four songs and will then devote the entire weekend to preparing alongside renowned choir directors and pianists Jean-Marc Normand and Emmanuel Paterne, to offer the public the next day a public rehearsal that is as festive as it is qualitative!
» It’s a weekend during which we take great pleasure not only in preparing, but also in sharing! “, invites one of the singers. A beautiful moment in perspective proposed by Vocalise which has been evolving for a little over two years under the direction of choir director Gaël Soret.
Singing weekend, Saturday November 16 and Sunday November 17 at Espace Prévoirie, 9 Rue Saint-Christophe in Soullans. All audiences, public rehearsal on Sunday November 17 at 4:15 p.m. with free admission.
