The sulphurous artist and businessman, who renamed himself Ye, is the target of a litany of complaints from former employees who accuse him of abusive and sometimes bizarre behavior.
In the latest complaint, Murphy Aficionado, who worked for him for nine months between 2022 and 2023, describes his collaboration at shoe brand Yeezy and school Donda Academy as a “nightmare.”
During this period, Ye’s “anti-Semitic tirades and conspiracies were daily,” according to the complaint.
The rapper often claimed that “Jews controlled the Kardashians,” or “were after him and his money,” the document details.
Now 47, Kanye West was married to reality TV star Kim Kardashian for eight years.
The couple, who had four children, divorced in 2022 and have an increasingly acrimonious relationship, although Ms. Kardashian has in the past been understanding of the mental health problems of the rapper, who claims to be bipolar.
Kanye West has made numerous anti-Semitic statements in recent years, which has made him a show business pariah. Adidas notably ceased all collaboration with him, like many other brands.
According to the complaint filed Thursday, Kanye West had no qualms about flaunting his sexual relationships in front of his employees.
Mr. Aficionado thus claims to have been summoned to work meetings, in hotels where the rapper had very loud sexual relations with his partner at the time, Bianca Censori, or his masseuse.
The employee said he felt “violated and dehumanized”.
His complaint seeks financial compensation for wrongful termination and for emotional and psychological damages suffered.
His lawyer William Reed said the complaint aims to “force Ye to understand that this behavior has no place in our society.”
“The rapper’s vitriol, hatred and anti-Semitism continue, as does his complete lack of respect for the women around him,” the council denounced.
Contacted by AFP, Kanye West’s representatives did not immediately respond.
