A documentary, produced by the streaming platform Peacock, reveals new telephone conversations from the famous cult guru. In these recordings, he notably admits to having committed other murders for which he was never incriminated.
Is the guru and criminal Charles Manson involved in murders other than those for which he was incriminated? This is what the main person says in audio recordings revealed in a teaser for a new documentary, reveals The Guardian.
In this audio, believed to be from a prison call, the notorious cult leader behind a series of murders in the 1960s admits to killing others. “There is a whole part of my life that no one knows about,” we can hear him say in the trailer for the documentary “Making Manson”, produced by the Peacock platform. “I lived in Mexico for a while. I went to Acapulco, I stole cars. I was involved in some business that was bigger than me, man. I was involved in a few murders. I left my .357 Magnum in Mexico and left dead people on the beach,” he said in one of those phone calls.
20 years of recordings
This new three-episode documentary series focuses, according to Peacock, on 20 years of conversations during which Charles Manson confides about his crimes, his upbringing and The Family, the name of the sect he led in the late 1990s. 1960 The group was involved in the murders of at least seven people in Los Angeles. Although not having participated in the murders, Charles Manson will be condemned for having persuaded his followers to commit them.
In this series, “former members of 'The Family' listen in on these exclusive conversations and are transported back to a time when they would have 'done anything for Charlie,'” describes the Peacock service. “Manson recalls the early crimes that led to the summer '69 killing spree,” offering an “explanation” that goes “against the accepted motive.” The release date for this explosive new documentary is set for November 19.
