Without Kanye West: Kim Kardashian would raise her four children “alone”

Kim Kardashian has opened up about the difficulties she faces as a single mother.

During an interview with his longtime friend Zoe Winkler for the podcast What in the Winkler?the reality TV star opened up about raising her four children.

Kim Kardashian shares daughters North, 11, and Chicago, six, and sons Saint, eight, and Psalm, five, with ex-husband Kanye West, whom she officially divorced in 2022.

“I think you and I mostly agree on raising children,” the billionaire told her childhood friend. “And the judgment, and the feeling of being alone sometimes, even though we have great support systems and we have people around us.”

Kim Kardashian addressed those times “in the middle of the night when they’re all sleeping in your bed and kicking and crying and waking up” and she has to deal with it alone. “It’s not something I talk about a lot because I feel like there’s always a lot of judgment or people are always like, ‘Oh, but you can afford nannies and help.” I think no matter what kind of help I have, I’m raising four children on my own,” she added.

She also shared that she drives her children to school as often as she can. “I mean even carpooling this morning, I had to take five kids,” she explains. “And everyone wants to leave at different times or wants different things. I feel like I’m a bit like a racing driver stopping at the pits.”

During the chat, the star revealed the “most frustrating” thing her mother Kris Jenner does as a grandmother. “My mom is the most critical when it comes to snacks and candy. But at her house, there are all the sweets, all the ice creams, it’s a children’s paradise,” she laments.

Kim Kardashian then recounted what happened the day her mother invited them for her birthday. “Last night my son went to get some cake from a freezer – it’s his birthday – and he said, ‘I don’t want cake, I want ice cream instead,'” she said explained before specifying that his son finally ate ice cream. “Look at him eating the ice cream,” Kris Jenner said immediately.

Stunned, Kim Kardashian didn’t believe her mother had let her son have ice cream. “My mom judges me like I’m the worst because I let them eat ice cream they had at her house,” she said.
